What happens if I clean my browser cookies with RJL System Cleaner?
Cleaning cookies logs you out of every website in that browser. This means:
- You will need to sign in again to Gmail, Facebook, Amazon, your bank, and every other website
- Website preferences that are stored in cookies (like language settings or "remember me" checkboxes) will be reset
- Shopping carts on e-commerce sites may be emptied
This is why cookies are rated Caution and are not selected by default. You need to explicitly check the "Cookies" option under each browser to include them in a clean.
If you want to clean cookies for privacy reasons but do not want to lose your logins everywhere, consider cleaning cookies in only one browser while keeping them in your primary browser.
Important: cleaning cookies does not delete your saved passwords. Passwords are stored separately and are never touched by RJL System Cleaner.
