Where does RJL System Cleaner scan for duplicate files?

The duplicate scanner checks your personal user folders:

• Documents
• Downloads
• Desktop
• Pictures
• Music
• Videos

It does not scan system folders (Windows, Program Files), hidden files, or system-attributed files. This is by design -- the scanner focuses on your personal files where duplicates are most common and where cleaning is always safe.

Files smaller than 1 KB are also skipped, as these are typically system files or configuration fragments that are not worth tracking.
